Recently a homeless woman from Ohio was caught taking money from a fountain outside of a courthouse in Bellefontaine. The woman was spotted by an officer while she was in the fountain grabbing coins. When he confronted her, he found her with change in her pocket. The woman had stolen precisely $2.87 from the fountain before she was caught. She says she needed the money to get food for her four cats and herself.
